Out of the Ordinary
I dressed Warner in an outfit today that was a bit out of our routine. Normally my blonde haired blue eyed baby is dressed like a little man. He is frequently sporting his madras shorts with a tee shirt or polo shirt- that is just how he rolls. Today, I found this outfit in his closet and just thought that it would be fun. I know that I won't be able to get away with this for much longer :) Matt was not so amused. He did not like it at all-at all and loathed me for dressing our child in such a manner. I, on the other hand, thought that he looked so cute. Judge for yourself!

Reunion
This past week Warner had a get together with his long lost friend Mr. Hippo. You might remember the hippo froim a previous post when I talked about how Warner loved him. Well, the love is still alive and well. We went to the park on Friday with his pal Jackson (his mom Allison tagged along too:) and had a great time. Warner was happy to see Jackson, but he spent most of his time with Mr. Hippo. Afterall, he sees Jackson quite often, but playing with Mr. Hippo is a rare occurance (especially in Florida's hot summers.)

Silly Faces
Warner has been a busy boy lately! He is opening doors, trying to walk and cutting numerous new teeth at the same time! One of the funniest things that he is doing is making funny faces at me when I am working in the den. He wants to get in so badly, but thinks that it is funny at the same time. My very determined son often is able to "break into" the den. He is such a man on the move, but I wouldn't have it any other way!
This is what I see on my end. Imagine trying to work with that little cutie trying to break in! |
He cracks me up! |

Steps
I am happy to report that Warner is going to be joining the ranks of the walking world very soon. He took his first steps on Monday and is getting a bit braver everyday. He has not taken any more steps on his own, but he is standing unassisted from time to time so I know that it is coming. First steps are bittersweet. I want Warner to venture out and meet all of his milestones, but it also means that he is growing up. I look at him each day and wonder when he got so big. I mean, I have seen him daily but honestly do not know when it happened. It seems like yesterday I had this little baby and now he is growing into a healthy little boy..and he is definitely all boy!
